Biography

Editor, Flisolo.com. As someone who used to be Editor of my university's student newspaper, student issues and interests have always been close to my heart.

While a student at Warwick university, I became addicted to writing and the student newspaper, The Warwick Boar, was the ideal place for me to learn the basics of journalism. After becoming Editor of the paper in my final year, I became passionate about student issues as well as student media itself.

After graduating I worked in advertising for a while, then retrained as a journalist. I worked mainly on business and finance titles, as well as keeping my eye on the world of student-based media.

Flisolo.com is now the perfect place for me to focus solely on student news and issues. The variety of content on the site hopefully means there's something to entertain and inform any school leaver, student or recent graduate. I'm particularly proud of the site for the opportunities it provides for budding young journalists. Many of the articles here are written by those who know most about what affects students - students themselves, and it's my hope that this site can be a springboard for the next generation of top writers, journalists and photographers.
